Pointr Maps for Epic MyChart

Pointr Maps can now be integrated directly into Epic MyChart, bringing indoor positioning and wayfinding into the patient experience.

Simplified Taxonomy

v10 introduces a new map content structure based on:

• Sub Type

Richer POI Metadata

v10 introduces a redesigned POI property system with a predefined attribute library and taxonomy-aware property suggestions.

Customers can continue to create and manage custom templates.

Dynamic Quick Access

Quick Access has been redesigned in v10 to support dynamic categories based on the new taxonomy structure. Categories can now be configured using AND / OR logic.

Example

Show only restaurants that offer vegetarian options.	Displays all POIs related to navigation and access around the venue.	Includes both restaurants and cafés in a single Dining category.

• Build categories with AND / OR conditions
• Create more targeted Quick Access experiences
• Support complex filtering requirements
• Match POIs using taxonomy and metadata

Custom Transition Icons

Transitions can now be configured with custom icons and names directly from Pointr Cloud.

Highlights:

• 9 transition icons available
• Custom transition naming
• Configurable through Pointr Cloud
• More accurate representation of venue-specific wayfinding flows

FIPS 140-3 Compliance

Platform updates for compliance-focused deployments across Backend, Web, and Mobile.

Includes improved handling of FIPS 140-3-compliant encryption requirements for security-sensitive environments.
