FAQ
Do I sign a contract with Pointr?
Venue buys a Base License from Pointr to be eligible for this platform. Then Pointr contracts each event directly.
What is the requirement for event introductions from the venue?
For larger events (10k+ attendees), we ask for introductions ideally 3–6 months ahead. For smaller events, inclusion in standard partner communications is sufficient.
What infrastructure is required?
We can leverage any BLE infrastructure you may have (eg. most Wi-Fi access points support them) or install battery-powered BLE beacons (which last min. 5 years).
What devices are supported?
We support Android 7.0 and iOS 13.0 and onwards. For 'blue-dot' positioning, device location & Bluetooth permission are required.
Can I brand the maps?
Yes! Full venue branding capabilities available in the Pointr Maps™ platform using your design guidelines.
